Thank you for your question on the SP+ unit and the Modbus connections.
Yes, it is possible to connected multiple devices to the Modbus port, however Modbus is a slower protocol so you would need to keep in mind the polling times and adjust accordingly to reduce the possibility of communication errors or timeouts.
