Hi,

We have a customer using AKCP system at head office and branches; there is issue at one of the branches:

A Siren STR00 is fixed at HO Control Center, and it is activated by sensors alarms at HO and other branch. The issue is at this branch, if there is alarm at this branch the Siren will not work. While the siren will work for any other alarm at HO.

There is AKCPro Server at HO. The Siren STR00 is connected to SPX+ at HO. The unit at the “faulty” branch is also SPX+.

Refer to the below notes:

– The siren is connected to the HO SPX+ with IP address 192.168.1.1. This IP Address is shown 3 times “as duplicate” on the AKCPRo Server!! Not sure if this could make a problem.

– The branch’s SPX+ IP Address (115.**.**.75) “not same domain as the HO – does this make any issue?”.

-AKCPro Server version is 16.2.84

I would like to share your reply for general benefit with other AKCP partners/users:

“The customer is using the older version of the server, so please assist them in upgrading the software to the latest on our website and also the base units firmware as I believe we fixed an issue with the siren/strobe in our later versions.
The software should not be showing duplicates and that also could be the problem. I would also suggest removing all of those and then re adding the unit back.”
