Hi AKCP Support,

With a virtual sensor on our SPX+20 with 20 dry contacts unit, I would like to be able to read the status of the 20 dry contact inputs. For example, if one of the 20 dry contacts is in the low state I want to be able to indicate that the virtual sensor is in alarm, if all the contacts are in the high state then the virtual sensor is normal.

I think it should be possible to do this with a Lua script on a virtual sensor, but I’m not sure how to go about it.

Do you have an example, or do you know how to proceed?

Thank you in advance,
AKCP Authorized Dealer

Hello AKCP Dealer,

Thanks very much for your question and we do appreciate you making the extra effort to directly support our end customer there as all of our local AKCP authorized dealers are expected to provide.

Here is the link to the Lua script file that your customer can use on the virtual sensor in the SP+ unit:

Also here is the link for the video guide for setting up the Lua script on the virtual sensor: http://www.akcp.in.th/downloads/SP2+/Check%20all%20sensors%20in%20normal%20Lua%20Script.mp4

Please Note: This Lua Script can be used by customers who require to check the status of sensors in the list of a selected (group by sensor installation area/sensor type or anything that matches their specific usage) sensors and show the Critical status if any of the sensors are not in a Normal status.

For example, check all sensors in main port, check all sensors in cabinet A, check all sensors in room A and link to the related notifications (cabinet A problem => Email technician A, cabinet B problem => Email technician B, …)

We hope this helps and please always check all of our other product manuals and latest firmware on our website support portal here:

And our SP+ KB here:
