Hello AKCP Valued Dealer,
Thank you for your question.
Our devices are designed to be run for many years without any maintenance required. They are very robust as we have installations still functioning in the field for more than 15 years before they come to us for replacements. Often their existing devices & sensors are still working fine, but they want to upgrade for new features.
For the SP+ units you can expect 10-15 years life, for the sensors, 15-20 years.
In general the devices are very reliable low power devices that work for a long time.
If you are a dealer and your end customer is considering upgrading their older equipment, please contact our sales team (sales@akcp.com) directly and include the AKCP base unit type, the units MAC ID’s and the sensor types & serial numbers they are using. This will insure their upgrade will go smoothly.
We can also offer special discounts on a case-by-case basis.
If you do have any further questions about this, please don’t hesitate to contact our support or sales team directly via email (support@akcp.com or sales@akcp.com).
Best regards,
AKCP Support Team
