Dear AKCP Team .
I have two AKCP sensorProbeX+ (SPX+) devices. I want to set them up so that one acts as the main unit and the other acts as a secondary unit. I need all the sensor data from the secondary device to show up on the main device’s dashboard. Additionally, I want the main device to handle all the email alerts for both units whenever a sensor goes into alarm. Note the spx+ devices are in seperate rooms.

Thank you for your question on this. The best solution for having one SP+ unit be able to poll, or monitor a secondary AKCP unit would be to use the SNMPget virtual sensors from the primary SP+ unit.
This would allow you to retrieve all of the sensor values and alert status from the secondary SP+ unit and send out the alerts via email or SMS from the primary unit.
You would simply need to setup the SNMPget virtual sensors on the primary SP+ unit using the sensor OID’s from the secondary SP+ unit.
To obtain the OID’s to enter into the primary SNMPget virtual sensor settings from the secondary unit you would use the “Get SNMP OID” button (built in feature) in the secondary SP+ units web UI’s where the physical sensors are connected.
