Dear AKCP Support,

I have some questions about calibration of your T/H sensors (we have now the customer, which needs calibration certificates for THS00 because of ISO).

  1. Do you have some declaration, that your sensors are calibrated before shipping?
  2. Can we order with the T/H sensor calibration certificate (for example if it is requested from the customer to have it when they will order?)
  3. Is there possibility to recalibrate the sensors at your factory including calibration certificate of concrete sensor?

Thank you,

AKCP Authorized Dealer

Dear Valued AKCP Dealer,

We welcome your question on this as we do get a lot of these inquiries regarding calibration.

The sensor chip we use is calibrated by the manufacturer and requires no further calibration during its lifetime. You can opt to purchase our NIST2 sensor, that has 2 of these chips and we check one value against the other to determine if the readings are within tolerance and alert if they re not, meaning the sensor is out of calibration. There is also the NIST3 sensor that has 3 of these chips, and failover to the 3rd chip should the primary pair ever be out of calibration.

Please refer to our these sensors datasheets on our website and also the manuals on our website support portal. We also have the calibration certificates we can send you on request (contact our sales team sales@akcp.com or support).

Every sensor is tested before shipping also, and we can provide you the individual testing checklists.

If the customer wants to ever do self calibration, if they have a highly accurate certified reference sensor, there is an offset value in our AKCP base units web UI they can use.

Please check this online forum entry directly below for more details on the reading “offset” feature and how to set this for the sensors.
