Thank you very much for your questions regarding the Quicklime DCIM. Please see below for the answers to all of your questions, and let us know if these help.

Is the AI feature a paid service? If so, is the AI developed by AKCP, or does it require a subscription to a third-party AI service?

No subscription required; it is on-premises AI running on their own server. It does, however, mean they must purchase a GPU, such as Jetson Thor 5000 or DGX Spark.

What is the purpose of the AI feature in Quicklime?

There are several AI functions. Video AI, for analyzing custom prompts in video feeds; sensorCFD AI, for analyzing the output of sensorCFD and providing advice on data enter PUE improvements; Configuration AI, which helps you use the software, like an AI assistant configuring dashboards etc for you, Capacity AI, which helps find stranded capacity and where you can install new equipment in your data center.

Is Quicklime a software application that needs to be purchased, or is there a cloud-based version available? If a cloud version is available, what is the pricing?

Currently, only on premise purchased option is available.

Is the CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) feature a paid module? Previously, CFD simulations required high-performance processors to achieve faster runtimes. Is this still the case, or have there been improvements in performance?

Yes it’s an additional paid package, charged per rack. You do require a high-performance GPU to run properly; it will be slow on a standard PC, especially for a complex facility. This feature is really for larger, more advanced customers.

For Asset Management, do we need to manually upload images of devices such as servers, switches, and other equipment, or does Quicklime already include a built-in library/database of device images?

You can upload them; we are working on putting together database and included in updates will be new assets.

Do you have a Quicklime PowerPoint presentation that we can use when presenting the solution to our customers?

Has Quicklime been officially released? If yes, could we obtain the Windows installation package for evaluation or deployment?

What are the functions of the Video Analytics feature in Quicklime? Does it require any specific or specialized camera hardware?

Video analytics is where you can enter a custom prompt to look for specific events in the video feed. It requires a DGX Spark GPU to be connected. No special cameras, so long as it outputs an RTSP video feed.

Does Quicklime support scheduled notifications or reminders, for example, to alert us when a server warranty is approaching its expiration date?

There is no annual license, but there is an optional annual maintenance to receive software updates. Yes, we will send reminders.

Regarding the 3D feature, is it possible to calculate or monitor the remaining load capacity of a raised floor (in kilograms) before adding new equipment?

Yes, you enter the max load capacity of a rack in the rack asset management section, and so long as you enter the weight of the assets you add, we can show if there is sufficient weight overhead.
