Adding my SP+ AKCP units to Quicklime and upgrading

Hi AKCP,

We have a couple of questions regarding your Quicklime software. We are currently using your AKCPro server software.

Do you have any guide on how to change or upgrade from the APS to the Quicklime? And also, how do we add our SP+ units to the QL after upgrading? We are using the older F7 SPX+ units, will these work on the QL?

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for your questions. We do have a quickstart guide for the Quicklime software that includes the upgrading procedures. Please contact our support team directly (support@akcp.com), and we can send that to you.

Regarding your F7 devices, these base units will not work with Quicklime, you need to have the H7 devices. If you are using the H7 devices, you need to make sure they are running the latest firmware.

Below is a demo video (27 minutes) and a video that shows how to add your SP+ devices to Quicklime:

For your F7 units, if you send our sales team (sales@akcp.com) the MAC ID’s of all the F7 devices, we can prepare a quote to upgrade them to the latest H7 units. Or, if you purchased the base units from our local dealer, contact them first for further instructions.
