Hello AKCP Team,
Our customer is in the process of transitioning from your APS (AKCess Pro Server) software to the Quicklime DCIM. Their question, along with ours, is can they can install the Windows version on a VM?
Thanks,
AKCP Dealer

Hello Valued Dealer,
Thank you for your question. Due to the special running environment requirements of the Windows version of the Quicklime DCIM, the software should be installed and run on a dedicated server, not on a VM.
We highly recommend that if a VM is required the Linux version of Quicklime be installed.
Please check the other Quicklime Q&A’s on this forum for more details, including minimum server hardware requirements, installation details, and other useful information regarding the software.
